Sometimes it’s easy to reach for a sugary snack in the afternoon when we feel our blood sugar levels slump. The best way to avoid this is to be prepared, here are a few quick ideas you can prepare. 

Celery and Carrot Sticks

Simple and easy, chewing on celery and carrot is a great healthy alternative to chomping on chips and lollies.

Sweet Potato Brownie

Try “Deliciously Ella’s” 6-ingredient sweet potato brownie. They are delicious and moist and amazingly still have a rich chocolate flavor. You cannot taste the sweet potato which fools your brain into thinking you’ve eaten a rich decadent, chocolate brownie.

Bliss Balls

Amazingly Easy to eat on the go and give your energy levels a much needed boost. Using the template below choose one ingredient from each line (this will make 8 balls).

 

¼ cup honey

¼ cup agave syrup

¼ cup rice malt syrup

¼ cup maple syrup

 

 

½ cup peanut butter

½ cup almond butter

½ cup hazelnut butter

½ cup cashew butter

½ cup tahini butter

 

1tbsp cacao

1tbsp cocoa

 

1cup desiccated coconut

1 cup oat flour

1 cup coconut flout

1 cup LSA

Place ingredients in a bowl and mix till combined. Use your hands to roll the mixture into balls, place into the fridge to set.
