Fun uses of Coconut Water

Coconut water is a hydrating alternative to sugary energy drinks. Naturally high in electrolytes and potassium, coconut water can replenish the fluids lost during exercise and day-to-day activity efficiently without the processing, added sugars, flavours and preservatives. Lower in calories than your standard pick-me-up energy drink these coconut ice blocks will be sure to hydrate you on a hot day! Did you know that coconut water has more potassium than bananas? In our bodies potassium controls our fluid and electrolyte balance and diets high in potassium can prevent hypertension.

How to make? It’s so simple!

  1. Creatively place your favourite fruit (strawberries, blueberries, kiwi fruit, raspberries, mango etc.) into ice block, or icy pole moulds.
  2. Top up the moulds with your favourite coconut water.
  3. Place in freezer.
