Delicious and Healthy Fruit Treats

Homemade fruit popsicles

You will need:

Fresh fruit of choice

Organic Coconut water

Popsicle mold

Paddle pop sticks

Peal, chop and slice some of your favourite fruits, we like to use strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and orange.

Place a variety of your sliced fruit in a Popsicle mould, being careful not to cram too much in.   Fill your moulds with organic coconut water, and place in the freezer.  Be sure to keep checking on your popsicles, before they freeze completely place a paddle pop stick inside each mould.

Frozen Bana'nut' bites 

You will need:

2 Ripe Bananas

Nut butter of choice

Slice your banana to make 1 cm slices. Halve your banana slices, and smother a good layer of your nut butter on theses slices.  Make each slice into a sandwich by adding another banana slice on top.  Place these Bana’nut’ bites onto a tray and into the freezer for 1-2 hours.  After 1-2 hours remove from freezer and enjoy your yummy snack size bites.

 

Frozen yoghurt kebab

You will need:

Strawberries

Raspberries

Blueberries

1 cup natural Greek Yoghurt

½ cup Milk

Skewers

 In a bowl add the Greek yoghurt and milk, mix the two until the it becomes a thick but pourable consistency, you may need to add more yoghurt or milk.  Thread your fruit through the skewer, place your skewers on a tray and pour your yoghurt generously onto your skewer.  Place these in a freezer and eat as you desire.
