Cut out Processed Food – Processed foods often include starchy carbohydrates such as breads, pastas, bagels, cookies, and crackers. Most of these foods are loaded with extra sodium and preservatives that can contribute to water retention and bloating. Although processed foods are considered convenient, and not all of them are bad for you: pre-chopped vegetables, or fruits canned in their own juice, are just two examples. Sometimes, however, convenience can mean large amounts of hidden sodium, fats, and sugar. No exactly the healthiest option, are they? Instead stick to wholesome, fresh foods!
