  1. Cucumber and Lemon Under Eye Treatment

 

What you’ll need –

  • ½ cucumber – cut into chunks
  • 1 cup of cooled chamomile tea
  • 1 lemon – cut into chunks
  • Blender
  • Ice cube tray

 

Directions –

  1. Blend all ingredients
  2. Pour into ice cube tray
  3. Freeze overnight
  4. Ready to use

 

How to use –

  1. Remove 1 ice cube, allow to thaw slightly and rub gently under eyes (this may be easier in the shower
  2. Rinse well

 

  1. Avocado Hair Mask

 

What you’ll need –

  • 1 ripe avocado – scooped
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • Mixer or food processor (mixing bowl and fork will be fine, just more work)
  • Shower cap
  • Hair tie

 

Directions –

  1. In the mixer or food processor add the avocado, olive oil and honey and mix until combined and smooth.
  2. Ready to use

 

How to use –

  1. Dampen hair and thoroughly apply the mask
  2. Put your hair in a bun, cover with shower cap and leave for 30 minutes
  3. Rinse well and wash as per normal

 

 

 

 

 

 

  1. Lime and Sea Salt Body Scrub

 

What you’ll need –

  • 1 teaspoon of freshly zested lime
  • 2 teaspoons of freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 cup fine sea salt
  • 4 tablespoons of coconut or olive oil

 

Directions –

  1. Mix together thoroughly

 

How to use –

  1. In the shower, take a small scoop and massage into your skin in circular motions
  2. Leave on the skin for a few minutes
  3. Rinse and cleanse away

 

  1. Kiwi Fruit and Strawberry Lip Scrub

 

What you’ll need –

  • ½ kiwi fruit
  • 1 strawberry
  • 6 tablespoons of raw sugar
  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 2 drops of vitamin E oil
  • Emptied and cleaned lip balm containers
  • Food processor

 

Directions –

  1. Puree the strawberry and kiwi fruit in a food processor and save for later
  2. Mix together sugar and olive oil until combined
  3. Add fruit and continue to stir
  4. Add vitamin E oil and stir until all of the ingredients a well combined and smooth
  5. Pour into containers and allow to set in the fridge overnight
  6. Ready to use

 

How to use –

  1. In the shower, wet lips and scoop a small amount of scrub onto your finger and apply to lips
  2. Scrub in a circular motion for 30 seconds – 1 minute
  3. Rinse off

 

  1. Matcha Green Tea Face Mask

 

What you’ll need –

  • ½ teaspoon of matcha powder
  • ½ teaspoon of sweet almond oil
  • ¼ teaspoon of warm water
  • Small bowl
  • Wooden spoon

 

Directions –

  1. Add all ingredients into the bowl and stir into a paste
  2. Add more water if it’s too powdery
  3. Ready to use

 

How to use –

  1. Apply to face and neck using fingers
  2. Leave for 15 – 20 minutes
  3. Wash off completely with warm water

 

  1. Aloe Vera Body Wrap Gel

 

What you’ll need –

  • ½ cup bentonite clay
  • 2 tablespoons of Epsom salts
  • ¼ cup freshly scooped aloe vera gel
  • ¼ cup almond oil
  • Ceramic bowl
  • Wooden spoon
  • Large towel

 

Directions –

  1. Mix the clay with the salt and add the oil, mixing into a paste
  2. Add the gel stirring until thoroughly combined
  3. Ready to use

 

How to use –

  1. Apply a thin layer to your body, starting with the feet and working your way up to your neck
  2. Wrap yourself in the towel, lie down and relax for 30 – 60 minutes
  3. Rinse with warm water, removing excess gel, lightly towel dry and moisturise as per normal

 

  1. Minty Face Spritz

 

What you’ll need –

  • 10 mint leaves
  • 1 tablespoon of freshly scooped aloe vera gel
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 cup of natural rose water
  • Spray bottle
  • Blender
  • Sieve

 

Directions –

  1. Blend mint and aloe vera together and the sieve out the juice, reserving the juice, discarding the leaves
  2. Add the lemon juice and rose water together with the juice in the spray bottle and shake vigorously to combine
  3. Keep in the fridge to keep chilled

 

How to use –

  1. Mist on to face when skin needs a spritz, morning and evening after cleansing and whilst wearing a facemask after it dries.
