Iced Tea Recipes

As the temperature begins to rise its starting to become increasingly difficult to avoid the refreshing taste of sugary soft drink.  We have the perfect thirst quenching ice tea recipes that are delicious, whilst be refined sugar free.

Sugar-free lemon and thyme iced tea


5 sprigs of fresh thyme

1 cinnamon stick

Juice and zest of 2 lemons

3 black tea bags

1 teaspoon of stevia  

1 slice lemon to garnish



1/ Bring 6 cups of water, thyme, cinnamon, lemon juice and zest to boil in a large saucepan over a medium-high heat

2/ Remove from heat after it has begun to boil and add tea bags and stevia

3/ Set aside for 15 minutes to steep and intensify flavour

4/ Remove tea bags and allow to cool to room temperature

5/ Strain the mixture and add to a pitcher

6/ Leave in the fridge to cool until ready to serve

7/ Garnish with sliced lemon when serving.


Strawberry ice tea recipe


½ cup stevia

250 grams of fresh strawberries

3 black tea bags

2 litres of water



1/ In a kettle, brew 8 cups of water with tea bags

2/ Hull and chop strawberries and blend in a food processor until pureed

3/ Press strawberries through a strainer to remove seeds

5/ Place puree and stevia in a large container or pitcher

6/ Pour hot tea over sugar & strawberries and allow the sugar to dissolve (make sure you have removed the tea bags)

7/ Add remaining water and serve over ice
