Decadent Black Forest Smoothie Recipe

Because some days you want your daily healthy smoothie to resemble that of a rich and creamy chocolate cake, this recipe will not disappoint.

 

1 cup frozen cherries

1-2 Medjool dates

¼ cup rolled oats

1 Tbsp. chia seeds

2 Tbsps. unsweetened cocoa powder

1 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk

1 scoop of your favourite protein powder

1-2 Handfuls of baby spinach

 

Place all ingredients into your blender or food processor and blend until smooth.

For a thicker smoothie, pre-make and store in the fridge for 6 hours.
