Jan Challenge Day 11| Oil Pulling

Oil pulling, also known as "kavala" or "gundusha," is an ancient Ayurvedic dental technique that involves swishing a tablespoon of oil in your mouth on an empty stomach for around 20 minutes. The main benefit of oil pulling is to reduce the amount of harmful bacteria in the mouth. It is suggested that by swishing the oil around your mouth, the bacteria “get stuck” in it and dissolve in the liquid oil and by doing so you remove a large amount of the bacteria and plaque in your mouth each time you do this. Although there is mixed evidence regarding the benefits, the result speaks for themselves so give it a go!
