To experience the benefits of turmeric it should be incorporated into your diet as often as possible, turmeric tastes great in a curry, bbq rub, salad dressings, marinades and can even be incorporated into milk to make a refreshing and relaxing drink.
Inflammatory fighting Turmeric Milk recipe
Serves 2
2 cups of almond milk (store bought or homemade)
1 tbsp. organic honey
1 tbsp. coconut oil
1 tsp ground turmeric
1 cinnamon stick or 1 tsp ground cinnamon
pinch of black pepper and fresh ginger
Method
1/ Pour all ingredient into a small saucepan and bring to a light boil, whisk to combine ingredients. Reduce heat to low and allow to simmer for 10 minutes
2/ Strain the milk to remove ginger cinnamon, peppercorns etc.
3/ Add honey if desired
4/ Enjoy your turmeric milk warm
