After a refreshing smoothie that will leave you feeling lighter and less bloated? Something that will stimulate your digestion and that will be calming and soothing for your stomach. Here is a fantastic aloe vera smoothie recipe that can be enjoyed all year round.

Here are the main ingredients and their benefits:

Aloe Vera: cooling and soothing on your digestive tract.

Pineapple: rich in digestive enzymes pineapple helps the metabolism.

Ginger: naturally neutralizes acids and toxins in the GI tract.

Turmeric: has anti-inflammatory properties, turmeric is good in aiding digestive problems such as gas, bloating.

Mint: helps soothe the digestive tract. 

Ingredients - 

1-cup spinach

¼ cup fresh mint

1-cup pineapple, frozen

2 tablespoons aloe vera juice, or a 2-inch fillet straight from the plant

2 teaspoons honey

½ inch fresh ginger, peeled and minced

¼ teaspoon turmeric powder

1 lime, peeled

¾ cup coconut water

Blend and enjoy!
