In summer it is extremely important that we take the time to moisturize our body appropriately. With our skin being exposed to the sun it is at an increased risk of drying out, this can lead to flakey skin and even contribute to wrinkles.
Ensuring we wear sunscreen or SPF foundation daily can help prevent any sun related damage. If you have somehow managed to attain sun burn on your face, a moisturizing face mask can rapidly hydrate and soothe your delicate skin.
You will need:
A resealable glass jar
1 tablespoon of honey
2 tablespoons of fresh squeezed orange juice
2 tablespoons of oats
3 tablespoons of natural yoghurt
Combine the ingredients and store in glass jar.
Use approx. 1 tablespoon of the mixture on your face after a long day in the sun, or if skin is becoming dry and flaky. Leave on your face for approx. 20 minutes and wash in warm water.
